New York City, Jordana Brewster's hometown...

As we know, Jordana passed most of her childhood, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, until she was 10 years old, when her family decided to move to the "Big Apple"... New York City, in USA.

Even when it was a huge change in her life, attending to a catholic school for girls, she keep growing in that new, huge famous city of yellow cabs, high buildings, cold winters, and white Christmas, soon Jordana come to loved NYC.

But in the start of her 20's, regarding to her successfully acting carrier, and following her dream, she need to leave New York, to flight all the way to the other side of the country, this place where stars are born and live, Los Angeles, California. City where she actually reside, in the lovely company of her family: her husband producer Andrew Form, and her adorable labs, Henry & Ella.
But for sure, Jordana's "Yankee Heart" will always beat in the direction of the east coast...

New York City in Jordana's own words...
A couple of years ago, on November 25th 2009, in our Jordana-Brewster.Org's shoutbox, we asked Jordana to tell us a little about her lovely american hometown, NYC.

Sangabrielle:
Hi Jordana, Can you please tell us, in your opinion, which are the bad & the good things of living in NY?
What things do you miss from NYC?
I’ve never been in NY, so the day I visit the Big Apple, which 3 places I must see it?

  • Jordana: New York: I really miss riding in cabs and busses and subways and walking everywhere and the independence i felt : being able to go anywhere at a moment's notice. I also loved that everyone is doing their own thing... you never feel lonely, because you are always surrounded by people, but you also are in your own.
  • Jordana: favorite places: central park (of course) and "The Reservoir", "Sacred Heart", where I went to school, "Tasti D-lite" yogurt :) in Soho.
  • Jordana: there really isn't much to complain about with New York.. i even miss the freezing cold this time of year.
